Appointments

All surgeries operate an appointment system for doctors and nurses. Patients should telephone the surgery where their medical records are held to make an appointment.

As we have three sites, same day appointments may not be with the doctor of your choice or may be with the nurse practitioner, who is able to prescribe and refer for further help where necessary.

Emergency Appointments

There are always appointments available for urgent problems on the day.

Telephone Advice

The doctors or nurse practitioner will be available to speak to you on the telephone. Please ask the receptionists to arrange an appropriate time to call.

You may also call NHS 111 on 111 for medical advice 24 hours a day.

Extended Hours Surgeries

For those patients who, due to work commitments, find it difficult to attend for routine appointments during our normal surgery hours, we offer a range of surgeries which will take place early in the mornings (before 08:30), in the evenings or on a Saturday morning. The times, days and location will vary from week to week.

These surgeries are pre-bookable only and appointments can be made between one week and 48 hours before the surgery is held, via reception, during normal surgery hours. These will be held by various Clinicians/Healthcare Professionals and it will therefore not be possible for patients to choose the GP they see.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.
