TEXT MESSAGE REMINDER SERVICE

You can now register to receive information by text message on your phone regarding appointments and health care.

If you wish to register for this messaging service please fill out a consent form which you can download from here or pick up from any of our surgeries.

When We Are Closed

If you have a medical emergency when the surgery is closed, please call NHS 111.

All calls to the service are recorded for the protection of both patients and staff.

People should call 111 if it’s not a life-threatening emergency, you don't know who to call for medical help or if you don't think it can wait for an appointment with your GP or if you don't have a GP.

Calls to NHS111 are confidential and free from landlines and mobiles (you need 1p credit on pay-as-you-go to access the service). The service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year in 170 different languages.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
